In August 2006 Gladen Construction Inc. started construction with Hardrives Inc. on a 11 million dollar interstate 35 project between Hinckley and Rock Creek MN. The work involved constructing cross over bypasses to facilitate temporary two way traffic. Once two way traffic was moved onto the temporary bypass Gladen Construction Inc. was given twelve working days to complete the south bound phase of the project. This work consisted of culvert rehabilitation and frost heave corrections. The work was completed ahead of schedule and four lanes of traffic was restored one weekend early. The culvert rehab and frost heave work was completed on the northbound lanes on September 22, 2006. This was the first mainline interstate project for our company. The only work for Gladen Construction Inc. in 2007 will be some minor extra work on the northbound lanes.

Gladen Construction Inc. a subcontractor for North Star was involved during July 18, 2005 - August 12, 2005 in working on nine miles of State Hwy 71 south of Bemidji Minnesota. Approximate 1,390 feet of pipe was removed and then replaced with about 1,500 feet of pipe. Some of the pipe was bored under the road so that no construction would need to take place to the road top.  Gladen Construction Inc. was also responsible for moving and placing 35,750 cubic yards of dirt to create new right turn lanes as well as bypass lanes along the nine mile stretch of road.
